Your courses

How this is calculated
weekly study hours per course = credits x hours per creditgrade needed on the final = (target - current grade x weight already graded) / (1 - weight already graded)
What it assumes
- Two study hours per credit per week is a widely used rule of thumb, not a measured finding. Change it at the top if your courses do not behave like that.
- The grade calculation assumes everything not yet graded counts as the final.
- It assumes your grading scheme is a straight weighted average, which is common but not universal - check your syllabus.
Worked example
In: 15 credits at 2 hours per credit; currently 88% with 60% of the grade already given; target 90%
Out: 30 study hours a week, and 93% needed on the remaining 40%
